Warmth and comfort food
Yes, winter is here, and those of us living in sub-tropical KZN don’t escape the shivers that winter brings.
So we’re going to be very upfront and ask if you could open your heart today with your winter donation. Your gift, sent by clicking here now, will help us buy blankets to keep our animal friends warm now and during the coming cold months.
And right now we have an urgent need for soft food for easier eating for the older animals, our fussy eaters and puppies with their small teeth and cats with dental problems.
This costly outreach happens during the first week of July. And any extra help you could give right now towards that would allow us to reach more animals needing sterilisation, inoculation and medical treatment.
And on your behalf – and with your gift made here – we would like to make sure that every animal that has been sterilised and treated, also goes home with a warm blanket and a bag of food.
As we know, a blanket is so much more than just a blanket. A comforting blanket brings a sense of security, safety and warmth for all animals.

The Kloof and Highway SPCA provide a comprehensive service to a large community in order to fulfil our mandate in the protection of animals and to prevent cruelty, neglect and suffering. Our SPCA services a vast area from Westville to Cato Ridge and surrounding areas.
