The Kloof and Highway SPCA provide a comprehensive service to a large community in order to fulfil our mandate in the protection of animals and to prevent cruelty, neglect and suffering. Our SPCA services a vast area from Westville to Cato Ridge and surrounding areas. Our team work tirelessly covering thousands of kilometers every year to rescue animals from abuse and neglect and bring those responsible to justice.

Come and join us at the Kloof and Highway SPCA this week. We are open Tues-Sat from 8am-3pm, and every last Sunday of the month 8am-3pm. 🐾Our Village Green charity shops, Nursery and our Hidden Treasures Marquee are packed with bargains galore so keep an eye out. 🐾Marilyn’s Tea House will be abuzz with activity with the most delicious food and beverages on sale🍰 🐾 “Paws for Coffee” will be open, and we have on offer a variety of coffees/freezos/smoothies/milkshakes/steamers/hot chocolates/fruit crushers/lemonades. 🐾Dogs on leashes are most welcome too. 🐕 🐾Be sure not to miss visiting the kennels and cattery to see the dogs, puppies, cats and kittens that are available for adoption - strictly by appointment only. 🐶 🐱 🐕 🐈 Find us at 29 Village Road, Kloof. On the morning of 13 December 2020, this little senior girl was picked up as a stray by a kind member of the public and brought into the care of the Kloof and Highway SPCA. She was checked over by the Kennel Supervisor and was found in good health, but very overweight. She was placed in our Stray Kennels, hoping that an owner will call in looking for her. Unfortunately, she sat waiting, but no owner ever came. After the 7 day stray period, she moved to our Adoption Kennels and given the name “Dumpling”. She was placed on special diet food and taken on regular walks, that she thoroughly enjoyed and soon we could see her losing the unhealthy weight and blossoming into the sweetest lady.On 30 January 2021, Dumpling’s life changed for the better when she was adopted! Now re-named “Sally” will go on two daily walks with her new owner and sleep next to her in the bed. 🐕We all love a happy ending, especially when it comes to our senior animals having a happy ending. 🥰 ...
