DESCRIPTION:The Kloof and Highway SPCA will be hosting our much loved Carols by Candlelight\nTuesday\, 16 December from 6pm to 8pm in Marilyn’s Tea Garden at our SPCA\, 29 Village Road\, Kloof\nThe cost is R50 per person and includes a candle – R20 for children under 12 and dogs on leads are most welcome! \nTickets can be purchased on Quicket – We encourage our supporters to buy tickets online as we are only able to accommodate a limited amount of people – don’t miss out on our festive celebration for the furries! Buy Tickets \nWe are happy to have the well loved The Durban Regiment Pipe Band opening the evening followed by Belinda Dolphin who will co-ordinate and lead the favorite Carols we all love to sing! We have some other entertainment surprises in store as well on the day! \nDelicious food and refreshments will be on sale with various vendors such as Marilyns Tea Garden\, Paws for Coffee\, Langtons Brewery\, and we encourage attendees to bring their own\, camp chairs and blankets and join in on the festivities we have all missed so much! \nThere are so many wonderful end-of-year celebrations but we ask that you support our Kloof and Highway SPCA as we enter the most difficult time of the year – we can only continue the work we do with your support\, we need YOU! \nFor any more information please contact Brigitte at marketing@kloofspca.co.za

DESCRIPTION:In the week of 14 – 18 July 2025 please join us in spirit and support when your Kloof and Highway SPCA will be hosting an Outreach Clinic in the KwaNyuswa Area. \nThe goal of our Outreach Clinic is to sterilise as many animals as possible preventing unwanted litters\, stray or abandoned animals as well as prevent the spreading of diseases and medical conditions such as Pyometra\, Testicular Cancer\, TVT and of course\, Rabies\, which is fatal to all mammals as well as humans. We use this opportunity to sterilise each pet\, vaccinate them against Rabies and send them home with a new warm blanket and some food. \nOur Inspectors are able to educate people in the community. The inspectors will also discuss basic healthcare such as vaccinations\, internal and external parasite control\, and share essential information in teaching our future generations to act with kindness to all living creatures. \nDONATE TO OUR OUTREACH CLINIC

DESCRIPTION:Kloof & Highway SPCA Dog Box Challenge 2025\nMeet Our Inmates and Help Bail Them Out!\nIt’s time for the annual Kloof & Highway SPCA Dog Box Challenge\, taking place from Friday\, 30 May 2025 – to Saturday\, 31 May 2025. Our brave participants are taking on the challenge of raising R10 000 each for the Kloof & Highway SPCA. Our participants will be “locked up” for 24 hours from 12 noon on Friday\, 30 May 2025 until 12 noon on Saturday\, 31 May 2025. You can donate to our #dogboxchallenge and be part of making a difference by bailing out the inmate of your choice. Please show your support and visit our participants on Friday evening in our kennels and enjoy an ice-cold Gin and Tonic or Craft Beer with Brew Krew\, some delicious curry from The Curry Lady\, decadent cupcakes from Sweetheart Treats\, and fiery entertainment from Gareth Greaves and Kimona Kirsten at 6pm in our Kennel Area! This year we will be dedicating our Dog Box to the many animals who lost their lives and to the many animals who have been severely affected by the KZN Floods. \nThe Kloof and Highway SPCA will continue to support and assist all those who still require our help. During the aftermath of the KZN floods our Inspectorate team went out daily and we were able to distribute over a ton of food\, blankets\, beds\, and water to badly affected areas. We are committed to being actively involved in outreach. We look forward to welcoming you on Friday to visit the inmates in our kennels and help us continue the fight against animal cruelty! \nView Teams and Donate
