How you can support us:

We are needing to generate revenue and in these difficult times, even your small change adds up and can help us to help animals.

Please consider having a tin in your retail outlet, school, office or even in your home for loose change. If you would like to be allocated tins and /or are prepared to assist in distributing tins or collecting please contact Janine on pr@kloofspca.co.za.

Alternatively, you may collect tins from our reception area. Please notify Janine by e-mail if you have a tin so that we can ensure we have a record of all our Tin outlets/collectors.

Our new vibrant murals

Thank you to Kerry Carter of Dappled Zebra, Principal Bernice Love and the art students from Grade 6 and 7 at Kloof Senior Primary for creating the wonderful wall mural art on our outside cattery walls and our puppy run walls.

We are so very grateful to the Principal, Mrs Love for joining Kerry and the pupils on this wonderful project.

The Kloof and Highway SPCA is blessed to have a community that cares and really makes a difference. The murals have brought a joyful vibrance to our cattery and puppy runs. The cattery initiative was created with a view to highlighting the adult section of the cattery.

The result was so vibrant and gorgeous that it was decided to ask Kerry if her team would be keen to paint our puppy run walls. If you would like to assist with a creative project, a sponsorship, or contribute towards our animal enrichment campaign, please contact Janine Kyle at pr@kloofspca.co.za.

Cars for cats and canines

The Smoking Tyres Club hosted Cars on the Green in a bid to help the Kloof and Highway SPCA, who have many animals looking for homes.

The Smoking Tyres Car Club initiated the charity drive, joined by the Lotus 7 Club and the Mini Owners Club of KZN. Classic, street rods, vintage, custom, Lotus 7, minis and modern did a charity run on Sunday and parked on the beautiful grounds of the Kloof and Highway SPCA adjacent to the tea garden and nursery area for an open day.

All the thrift stores were open and singer Belinda Dolphin was the entertainment. Various foods were on sale, there were lucky draws, and Roberta Alessandri models did a fashion show at 10.30am with styling by Kevin Ellis.

Ellis also taught some impromptu dance to kids who wanted to learn great moves and get onto the stage. What a great success and THANK YOU to everyone who joined and supported our SPCA.

MySchool Cards: During this period of uncertainty and not knowing what to expect next, one thing has shone through, like a beacon in the dark – Caring in action.

At the Kloof & Highway SPCA all lives matter and we encourage our visitors to enjoy our beautiful property and appreciate nature and fresh air. We encourage the re-use, recycle and re-invent whatever you can. You can help us by visiting and supporting our nursery, tea garden, Paws for Coffee, Hidden Treasures and our Village Green Shops from Tues to Sat 8am to 3pm. We hope to see you soon.
