Our inspectorate team are the superheroes who are out in the field working with the public to ensure that the animals are well-cared for.
They regularly visit our outreach communities to offer their support by educating the families on how to care for their pets.
The team visit places like the Inanda Valley, Inchanga, Cliffdale, Molweni, Mophela, KwaXimba and Bux Farm, bordering on Cliffdale, taking with them heaps of dog and cat food as well as treats for the children. The Inspectorate Team regularly spends the day out giving and sharing at the more remote rural communities. Our staff make sandwiches for the owners of the animals and we load our vehicles with dog and cat food, biscuits and treats for the children.
One area we visit is the Maphephetheni region of Inanda Valley.
We receive such a warm reception by both the people and their pets. Our Inspectorate team spend time educating and helping where needed. We find some new contacts, and refresh some old relationships. The gratitude we receive by both the animals and their owners are overwhelming.
A big Thank YOU to our supporters for making these regular projects possible, your generous donations, to keep fuel in the tanks and food donations, allows these animals to receive the correct nutrition and care and empowers animal owners with the knowledge that they have someone to contact when in need.
The team members get invited to attend meetings in different areas to discuss various topics around caring for the animals in the community. These topics range from the importance of vaccinating pets against Rabies, what to do if bitten by a dog or who to contact regarding sick and injured animals, as well as the 5 Freedoms of the SPCA.

Please also include what animals your complaint is relating to, how many and if possible a description of the animal(s) to allow us to easily identify them.
