Donate Unwanted Goods
We welcome ANY items that are in “newsed” working order and good condition that we will be able to sell in our shops and Village Green. Drop offs are welcome at the gate container manned 24/7 by our friendly security guards.
Kloof & Highway SPCA operates primarily through good quality, second-hand items, donated for resale. Your donations to our Charity Shops help us raise funds for animals – and provides a more affordable shopping experience for many communities.
Please think of us before discarding unwanted items such as clothing, bric-a-brac, utensils, appliances, tools, furniture, curtains, blinds, toys, games, office supplies, sports equipment, radios, hi-fi’s, TVs, decoders (working condition), kennels, baskets and carriers.
We do not take VCR’s, Printers or Underveldt.
We will accept your used, clean, and good condition furniture, clothing and bric-a-brac. All goods must be “newsed” and/or saleable. We do not accept used dog bedding in poor condition due to hygiene concerns. We do accept dog bedding that has been laundered and is in good condition. For health and safety reasons, please specify if goods to be collected are heavy to lift, or if access to the property is limited.
We can collect large/heavy loads. Please contact Anna Naicker at hr@kloofspca.co.za.
Our Collection Points at certain vet shops and veterinarian practices around the Kloof and Upper Highway areas provide an easy way to donate vital items such as pet food, blankets, toys and more without having to travel all the way to our Kloof & Highway SPCA premises.
Thank you to the shops and veterinarians across the greater Kloof and Highway area who graciously allow us to place a Kloof & Highway SPCA change cans in their stores or practices – making it easier for you to support the animals we care for.

Kloof & Highway SPCA treats and cares for thousands of animals each year, investigates animal cruelty and neglect; promotes responsible pet ownership through its adoption process; holds regular sterilisation clinics in poverty stricken and rural areas and conducts education on the humane treatment of animals to promote compassion and respect for all living creatures.
We would not be able to continue this work without the continued support from our community. We rely on your donations, support and generosity to provide basic animal health care which is desperately needed.

There are many other ways to get involved in assisting the Kloof & Highway SPCA.
- MySchool – while shopping online or in-store please think of us and swipe your Myschool card for the Kloof and Highway SCPA and we will receive a percentage.
- Change Cans – we have change cans at our Reception area as well as our Village Green and Thrift shops. If during lockdown you have no cans please still collect your change and donate to us when you ready.
