When concerned members of the public heard a dog crying in nearby bushes, our field officers searched until they found him with his head trapped in a discarded tyre. They freed him and brought him to our clinic for care. It is one example of the work dependable support helps us prepare for.

How do I change or stop giving?

Is fee cover optional?
Yes. It starts unchecked. The form shows your monthly total before you continue to PayFast.
Is email optional?
Yes. The email-news choice is separate and optional. You can unsubscribe from email without stopping your monthly donation or changing your WhatsApp choice.
Where can I get help or a receipt?
A Section 18A receipt is available for qualifying donations. For payment, receipt or membership help, contact marketing@kloofspca.co.za.
How we use your WhatsApp information
Your number is used for the Highway Heroes programme. It is accessible to authorised personnel and service providers acting on our behalf, and is processed using WhatsApp/Meta services. - The Community is for active Highway Heroes members and is administered by Kloof & Highway SPCA.
- Official updates are shared in Highway Heroes | Official Updates.
- Replies must remain respectful, relevant and appropriate for an animal-welfare community.
- Do not share confidential cruelty-case details, complainant information, private addresses, personal data or identifying information about children.
- Do not copy, screenshot or forward sensitive behind-the-scenes content where the SPCA marks it as restricted. The SPCA cannot guarantee that recipients will not otherwise screenshot or forward messages.
- Do not use the Community to report cruelty or an emergency; use the SPCA's published emergency and inspectorate contact routes.
- No spam, unrelated promotion, harassment, abuse or unlawful content is permitted.
- Administrators may remove content or access for misuse or inappropriate conduct.
- Membership normally remains available while a qualifying recurring donation continues successfully and WhatsApp consent remains active.
- Leaving WhatsApp does not cancel the recurring donation; cancellation must be requested separately.
Replies may occur even when the Community is primarily administrator-led.
