What is a gift in lieu donation?
A gift in lieu is a donation made in place of a traditional gift. At Kloof & Highway SPCA, you can give in honour of someone, mark a birthday or special occasion, or make a donation in memory of a loved one while supporting animal care.
How do I make a gift in lieu to Kloof & Highway SPCA?
Choose a one-time or recurring donation and enter your amount in the form above. Complete your details, add a dedication if you wish, and review the donation terms and total. Select Donate to continue to PayFast to complete payment.
Can I make a donation in memory of someone?
Yes. You can make your donation in memory of a loved one or in honour of someone special. If you want to provide recipient details, select “I would like to dedicate this donation to someone” and complete the fields that appear.
Can I include the recipient’s name and email address?
Yes. Selecting the dedication checkbox opens separate fields for the recipient’s name and email address. Use those fields for contact details. If you need help with a dedication or acknowledgement, contact reception@kloofspca.co.za.
Will my donation message be public?
A donor comment may be displayed publicly on this campaign page. Do not put private information, email addresses or phone numbers in your comment. Recipient details belong in the separate dedication fields.
How much can I donate?
You can choose your own gift amount, with a minimum donation of R10. The form also offers an optional contribution towards payment processing fees. Review the fee checkbox and your final total before continuing to payment.
How is my online gift paid?
Online donations are completed through PayFast. The form shows your donation amount, any selected processing-fee contribution and the total before you continue to the payment provider.
