The Kloof and Highway SPCA are busy gearing up for our 2022 Dog Box fundraiser which will be held on 27th May.

Over 40 people will be locked in our 24 socialisation run kennels for 24 hours from 12 noon on Friday 27 May until 12 noon on Saturday 28 May 2022 in an effort to raise much needed funds. These amazing inmates are taking up the challenge to raise bail of at least R10 000 and are doing this to make a difference for the animals in our community!

This is our eighth year hosting the Dog Box fundraiser and it has to be one of the most sociable and fun events of the year for our SPCA as well as a major fundraiser. We would like to invite our community to come along and join in on this exciting event by visiting the participants in their kennels and being a special part of our Dog Box.

The funds raised will be used in the Kloof and Highway SPCA’s ongoing fight against the prevention of cruelty to all animals. Our Hidden Treasures Marquee will be part of the action with a gorgeous display of items for sale at the venue of the Dog Box.

There will also be entertainment and refreshments on sale. On Saturday our reception will be open from 8am-12noon as normal and our Village Green will also be open as normal. So please help our inmates make their bail so that we can continue to help the animal that so need us at the moment.

Upcoming Dates To Diarise:

30th April – Open Adoption Day! (Postponed) – Official open day has been postponed, but office and recpetion will still be open as normal for those wishing to adopt from 8am – 12 noon.

1st May – Open Sunday (Worker’s Day) – All shops open!

2nd May – Monday, Mother’s Day. Giveaway for all ladies. All shops open!

14th May – Roberta Alessandri Models Fashion Show and Extravaganza, Get Knotted.

27th May – 24 hour Dog Box Challenge. Please support our inmates in this major fundraiser for our SPCA on Friday 27 May at 12H00. Read more

16th June – Public Holiday and celebrate Father’s Day.
